Young Ideas for Europe goes into its second phase with yet more EDC partners involved

Young Ideas for Europe, the initiative established by the Robert Bosch Foundation which gives young people a voice in European politics, is about to go into its second phase. Following the successful pilot phase which was implemented with EDC partners and others in 6 European countries, the project will now go into its second round and will take a huge stride by being implemented in 18 EU Member States.

IFOK, the EDC partner which designed the initiative and is managing its implementation via the partner network, is thrilled by the enthusiastic responses it has received from partners keen to implement YIfE in their country: "We have been almost overwhelmed by the responses of our EDC partners - so many of them are just jumping at the opportunity to work on the project! It really shows just how important participation is as an issue, throughout Europe - and, above all, how important it is to give young people - the next generation of Europeans - a voice in issues of European policy. We're thrilled!" said Miriam Sontheim, the project's manager at IFOK.
